Improvement and Performance Evaluation of Local Wave Analysis

摘要

A new method for analyzing non-stationary signal designated as local wave analysis is introduced. In comparison with the traditional time-frequency analysis methods (short-time Fourier transform, Wigner-Ville distribution, wavelet analysis and etc), local wave analysis has more advantages. In this paper, the performance evaluation of local wave analysis is studied, the conglomeration of time-frequency of local wave analysis is analyzed by way of linear frequency modulation signals, the factors affecting the performance of local wave analysis are discussed and the related improvement measures are set forth. This paper is of great significance to the perfection and further development of the theories of local wave analysis.
