Rapid PCR has recently attracted attention from many researchers. The primary restriction associated with an approach that using heating devices with the PCR reaction chambers is the rate at which the samples can be heated and cooled. This paper introduced a kind of PCR microchip array integrated with micro-heater and temperature sensor. it has the advantages of rapid temperature cycle, smaller amounts of sample and reagent, high sensitivity, portability and mass-productivity. Compared with traditional thermo-cycle, the test result based on this kind of micro-system has high reliability, fast heating/cooling rate, and high temperature control precision.
