摘要

Optical Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) strain sensors are widely used in bridge health monitoring because of their small size, integrating sense with transmission, immunity from the effect of electro-magnetic inter-ferrous. In this paper, an tied-arch bridge tie bar extension force on line monitoring is presented in which the use of FBG sensors embedded in tie bar structure for real-time measurement of internal force state changes. And then the method of embedding fiber, the relation between optical fiber through out and the internal state of tie bar structure under the actions of loading and temperature are discussed. The results show that the embedded fiber optic sensing can offer the possibility of internal force state of tie bar structure and the condition of tied--arch bridge.
