Using the Hybrid Finite Analytic Method (HFAM) and staggered grid, the authors treat numerically the finite length line inclined positively buoyant jets in cross flows. The phenomena and development of end-vortices are simulated successfully, and the limited value that end-vortices are formed is calculated. The relational expression on the distance between meeting point and the center of jet exit and length of diffuser, relational expression on the distance between center of vortex and plane of symmetry and length of diffuser, and relational expression on the height of center of vortex and length of diffuser are also given.
