An Attribute Reduction Algorithm in Rough Sets Based on GA

摘要

Attribute reduction in rough set is a NP-complete problem. It is difficult to use rough set in practice applications using conventional methods. For this purpose, according to binary discernibility matrix of known database we present an attribute reduction algorithm based on GA. The experimental results show that the proposed method is simple and effective.
