The Design and Implementation of VXIbus Multifunctional Module

摘要

This paper discusses the development process of VXI bus Multifunctional C size register-based module that supports VXI bus system Specification. This module has the ability of 32 channels isolated digital input and output, 4 channels counter which is used to test frequency of ranges from 1Hz to 8MHz, or period of signal, and 4 channels 12-bit D/A converter which accepts analog output rangs of ± 10V. And the designs of digital I/O circuit, counter circuit and D/A circuit are describe in detail. Especially, VXI bus module Interface circuit are researched, and its instrument driver is designed conforming to VXI plug & play specification. The functions and the techno-parameters of VXI module are proved to be true and reach the requirements of design by tests.
