Power quality monitoring in Belgian distribution networks

Netmanagement, as a major partner of most Belgian distribution networks operators, is consequently active in nearly 80% of the power distribution networks in Belgium. For management of Power Quality Monitoring, Netmanagement refers to Laborelec. The present paper is experience-based and gives a survey of progress, the regulatory framework, the goals, the system configuration, data acquisition and processing, etc.
