摘要

Observations with the lidar at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics began this winter. The lidar is intended for night-time observations from the free troposphere to the stratopause. Currently, measurements are restricted to intensity and polarization at 532 nm. However, upgraddes are underway which will add a vibrational Raman channel for temperature retrievals and channels for ozone measurements. Here we present examples of our first data sets which were intended to examine the range of application.
