In this study, an experimental and an analytical work were carried out for investigating theinelastic behavior of jacketed reinforced concrete sections under the combined effect of axial load and reversedcyclic flexure. For this purpose nine original, and nine repaired and retrofitted specimens were tested. Forretrofitting, the damaged specimens were jacketed from one, two or four sides after being repaired. It wasobserved that while jacketing from two and four sides significantly improved the behavior, the specimen, whichwas retrofitted with a jacket from one side, did not perform satisfactorily. The analytical moment–curvaturerelationships obtained for the plastic hinge zones of both original and repaired and retrofitted specimens byusing fiber element approach were in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data.
