High-temperature heating tests of CMCthermal protection system (TPS) panel using thevacuum heating test equipment with the infraredlamp were carried out, and the temperature anddisplacement of the panel were measured atmany points. Two support conditions of thepanel were examined considering the connectionto the primary structure. In addition, thetransient values of temperature, displacementand stress of the panel were analyzed by usingFEM with taking into account cavity radiation ofthe panel and its nonlinear stress-strain relation.Predicted values indicate relatively goodagreement with the experimental results.
