HIGH-SPEED PRECISION GRINDING OF ELLIPTIC PARTS BASEDON TIME-BASE CONTROL

摘要

In this paper ,a actual method is made to fulfil high-speed precision grinding of elliptic parts based onPMAC time-base control .The high-speed feed drive unit and electric spindle of machine tool are controlled byopen controller PMAC. Also , a set of numerical control system of grinder is integrated .A good experimentedresult is gotten in this grinder to grind elliptic parts .A practical method is given to solve the grinding ofnoncircular parts.
