APPLICATION AND DEVELOPMENT STATUSOF SOFTPLC TECHNOLOGY

SoftPLC technology based on PC is a new control technique and one of main research interests in industrialautomation & control technology at present, which has a great many advantages of open control system、stronger dataprocessing and network communication capacity comparing with traditional PLC, and meets need of modern industrialautomation. The background、characteristics and construction of SoftPLC are discussed, and its technology advantagesare also analyzed. Development status and its products exiting in overseas market are briefly introduced; in addition thedevelopment trend and application prospects of SoftPLC technology are also elaborated.
