摘要

A high performance hydraulic turbine governor based on programmable computercontroller (PCC) has been developed. The variable structure and improved PID controllaw of hydraulic turbine governor was analyzed and applied. The hardware configurationand the software implementation of the PCC-based hydraulic turbine governor, whichincluded the higher precision frequency measurement method of using time processorunit (TPU), were described in detail. Besides the speed control, the speed tracking, thepower output regulation and the performance test also can be realized in the PCC-basedhydraulic turbine governor. Some simulations and field tests have been conduct with aprototype PCC-based hydraulic turbine governor, and the results indicate that the PCCbasedhydraulic turbine governor has a good performance.
