Study About Dairy Cow Type Linear AppraisalBased On Image Processing

The technology of image processing is to use computer and other correspondingdigital technology to make some operation and processing to image, consequently arrivesome given purpose. The technology of image processing is used in dairy cow type linearappraisal. The development tool of system software is NI IMAQ Vision and NI LabWindows/CVI 6.0. Panasonic WV-CP240/G color camera acquires dairy cow picture, andconverts it into digital image file, image file are inputted computer by color image acquisitionboard. Noise is eliminated effectively by median filtering. To make dairy cow feature pointslocated accurately, Discrete Fourier Test (DFT) is used to make image enhance in imagepreprocessing. Make linear appraisal to most traits of dairy cow through measuring thedistance between two points or angle among three points. The experimental results show thatthis system has high speed and meets the need of the precision. It may replace manualevaluation in practice.
