Based on the monitoring data collected from 40 monitoring wells in 9 sections, theregulation of groundwater chemical variations impacted by eco-water conveyance from 2000 to 2002was studied. The result indicates that the groundwater chemical characteristics have changed a lot,due to the impacts of four times intermittent water transport. At the beginning of the impact, thecontent of main ions and total dissolved solid (TDS) in groundwater increased obviously, anddecreased in metaphase, whose speed of the decrease is fast in the first then slow,in theanaphase,the ions and TDS increased step by step. The movement mechanism of hydro-salinity isalso analyzed in this article. Through the discussion of variation of groundwater chemicalcharacteristics, it is found that the impacts of eco-water conveyance to groundwater chemicalcharacteristics is only dilution the consistence, not reducing the amount of salinity. A series ofengineering and managing measures should be taken to decrease groundwater salinity.
