THE ROLES OF INFORMATION SYSTEM INTEGRATIONIN SUPPLY CHAIN INTEGRATION SUCCESS

Information Systems Integration (ISI) represents the degree of cooperation on IS practices betweenbusiness functions within a firm and between a firm and its trading partners. While many firms focus onachieving high levels of IT utilization, without ISI, supply chain members may not attain the full benefitsof supply chain integration. This study applies IS perspective to explore both causes and effects of ISI andrecommends research instruments to measure ISI which will be beneficial for both practitioners andacademicians.
