Path selection, source routing, resource calculation, restoration and optimization are invited to the control plane of MPLS-based networks in this paper. An algorithm for primary path selection based on constrained routing, two algorithms for backup path selection based on no node-shared scheme and no edge-shared scheme and a optimization scheme for backup path are suggested to support MPLS-based networks.
