A Novel Channel Estimation Scheme in MC DS-CDMA Systems

This paper proposes a novel channel estimation scheme for MC DS-CDMA. We make the channel estimation in time domain firstly and then the channel estimation in frequency domain is used to further improve the performance of channel estimation. The simulation results show that the averaged channel estimation scheme in time domain could largely filter out the noise and improve the accuracy of channel estimation, especially at low Signal-Noise-Ratio (SNR). With followed channel estimation in frequency domain, the bit error rate (BER) performance of systems has 0.5dB improvement further. After two times of channel estimation, the system performance approximates to that of the ideal channel estimation.
