In near future natural gas is the fuel to choose for power generation with high temperature fuel cells. Combined heat and power generation plants with high temperature fuel cells can help to reduce CO2-emissions. The presented Trigeneration concept is an enhanced cogeneration concept including the additional use of the exhaust gas material beside the power and the heat in industrial processes. Target of the concept is the technical recuperation of H2O and CO2 from the exhaust gas of a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and the reuse of the recovered material in the production process of a brewing plant.
