The Santa Fe Bypass for transport of transuranic waste (TRU) to the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant(WIPP) near Carlsbad, New Mexico has been constructed and is operational (as of 2000). Thispaper presents a review of actual empirical data from the sales of real estate in the Santa FeCity/County area since the filing of the City of Santa Fe v. Komis lawsuit in 1988. The dataanalyzed covers the time period from 1989 through the last quarter of 2001.
