The steady state temperature profile is derived in a CFB during exothermic reaction. At Pe < 2sqrt(U'''*) the temperature profile becomes cosinuous. Upon using the De Movrie's theorem and taking the real part and substituting the BC at X = 0, for small Pe, U = Cos (Xsqrt(Pe2 - 4U'''*)) The heat sink has to be increased to avoid this condition or the bulk flow can be increased to obtain; U = exp(Pe X/2) exp( -Xsqrt(Pe2 - 4U'''*)) The solution to the steady state temperature profile is bifurcated.
