Using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance(NMR) water exploration instrument combined with drilling data, this paper studied the groundwater content and distribution, the mean porosity and the permeability rate of Zhaoshuling(ZSL) landslides at high water time and low water time respectively. According to the factual observation data of two aquifers, the mathematical model was established to evaluate the stability of ZSL landslides. The model took the permeability of water as parameter, calculated the stability coefficient and evaluated the stability of this landslide. This method is more appropriate to the practice than the traditional residual pushing method.
