摘要

A model of ores sintering reactivity can be built with the aid of sinter pot tests appropriately designed to simulate ores, mixtures, and process conditions inherent to each industrial plant. The model can be used to guide changes in ore mixture for a given need of process and/or sinter performance. The model built with the series of experiments used in this work indicated that: 1. porous ores were appropriate to accelerate the process and compact ores to control sinter mechanical strength; 2. predominantly hematite ores showed superior performance than predominantly goethite ores; 3. hematite-middling crystallized-porous ores were the most reactive ores according to the novel combined concept of higher productivity and sinter mechanical strength.
