摘要

The finite element stiffness and elastic dynamic models for a new type parallel machine tool are established.Influences of structure parameters to stiffness and natural frequency are studied.results of calculation show that the stiffness of new type parallel machine tool is near to that of the stewart platform based parallel machine tool in Z direction but higher than that of the stewart platform based parallel machine tool in X and Y direction.during machining process,the end area of middle leg is most likely to de damaged,the increasement of section area of middle leg can increase the stiffness of parallel machine tool greatly,research results in this paper possesses important significance on optimaling structure parameters and enhancing the vibration_resistance_ ability,machining_steady_ability and the dynamic characteristics .
