This paper describes the different magnetic field management techniques which can be used for different types of transmission and distribution power lines in order to reduce the possible exposure risk. Furthermore, magnetic field levels and distributions in the vicinity of under-built lines which can play an important role in magnetic field management are also investigated and compared to those levels and distributions under corresponding single conventional and compact power line configurations.
