EVALUATION OF STANDARD TEST PROCEDURES FOR BATTERY MANAGEMENT COMPONENTS

Aim of this European project is the evaluation and development of standard test procedures for the following components of lead acid battery management, use in PV-systems: charge and deep discharge-controllers, state-of-charge indicators and state-of-health indicators. The project started with a comparison of techniques of battery management (BMS) components and the determination of their demands and limits. Tests and simulation environments were build up and first test procedures were designed and tested.
