The practicable all-fiberoptic acceleration geophone based on a fiber optic Michelson interferometer, which is used to constrain the transverse vibration of the seismic mass, and the technology of PTAC and homodyne compensation is adopted to realize the effective detection of the applied acceleration signal. The designed frequency range of the geophone is 10~1000Hz, The simulation results obtained with PM Vibration Exciter 4808 made in Denmark, show that the demodulation signal has good coherence with the signal to be measured and that the amplitude-frequency curve is ideal between 10~160Hz. The geophone has an acceleration sensitivity of 1.1mV/cm·s~(-2).
