摘要

The exact modeling of the flow stress response of a metallic material to imposed deformation conditions is a prerequisite for successful modeling of forming processes using FE methods. A dislocation density based model is proposed for this task here. After a short introduction to the basics of this model some aspects of its use in modeling the deformed microstructure for a subsequent modeling of recrystallisation are discussed. Some examples of application of the model will be given.
