CURRENT STATUS OF ON-LINE PRIVACY AND FUTURE PERSPECTIVE

Technologically, every move by a user in the Internet can be traced and recorded so that the data may be used for marketing purpose or something else. Such remarkable advancement in information technology in these days may put users' privacy in a great jeopardy, thus urging development of effective protection schemes. Unless their privacy concerns are well addressed, the emerging online business may face serious stumbling blocks. This paper is to discuss current status of online privacy and future perspective.
