Implementation of the Agent based Digital Rights Management System for interaction on the Web

摘要

According to rapid growth of network use and market for online distribution of digital contents, potential threats of infringement of IPR(intellectual property rights) to digital contents is ever increasing. DRM(digital rights management) is the technique to protect and manage digital rights of rights holder. In this paper, we start with going over existing digital contents protection schemes, and then introduce the Agent based Digital Rights Management System, a model that is more human-oriented and harmonious with present digital environments. We defined digital right, usage rule based conventional metadata, and additional data for tracking and monitoring illegal usage. We will look at how this model is designed, shared, distribute and how protect digital rights effectively in details.
