COMMUNICATION BETWEEN END-USERS AND DATABASES USING MOBILE AGENT TECHNOLOGY

摘要

The main purpose of this paper is to present an investigation of a communication layer between user interface and databases, as a part of more general system for information exchange via Intranets and Internet. The general system is based on a framework (shell) for an intelligent global research network consisting of connected local (national) working and research networks. This framework will consist of distributed co-operating expert systems (Intelligent Base Systems) with decision support modules for research management and intelligent knowledge retrieval provided by applied multi-agent systems. For the prototype the local research networks and working spaces are carried out as Intranets. The centre of each local network is an intelligent base system conceived as expert system with co-operating and communication facilities via Internet/Intranet The entire knowledge will be shared over the whole network and managed by Intelligent Knowledge Brokers.
