In this paper, An implementation method of clutter simulations in a new airborne phased-array radar video simulator is discussed. The means of Zero Memory Nolinearity (NMNL) is adopted to simulate clutter, whereby let Gaussian white noise pass through a low-pass filter to get power spectral characteristics, then NMNL is used to achieve desired amplitude distribution characteristics. The simulated clutter is divided into three parts: the main-beam clutter, the side lobe clutter and the altitude-line clutter. Three channels are adopted to simultaneously simulate the sum channel clutter (Σ), the azimuth difference channel clutter ( Δα ) and the pitching difference channel clutter ( Δβ )
