摘要

The paper presents a transformation matrix and a mathematical model for 15-phase brushless direct current (BLDC) motor with an opened phase. With the mathematical model, the field-oriented control can be put into use for the BLDC motor. According to the model, a fault-tolerant control system is proposed to guarantee the high-performance of 15-phase BLDC motor subject to the loss of one of stator phase opened circuit Simulation result reveals that the fault-tolerant system can meet the demand of disturbance-free operation when the open-circuit fault occurs in stator windings.
