Permanent Magnet in-wheel Synchronous Motor for Electric Vehicle

摘要

This paper describes a new permanent magnet synchronous machine and power electronics converter proposed in-wheel mounting in an electric vehicle. The motor performances are computed using FEM simulation. The drives performance is computed for urban and rural driving, using a mathematical model of electric vehicle implemented in a Matlab program.
