The advantages of Beaver 4012 wheel dredger can be concluded as follows: 1. Stable and reliable performance. 2. High production for all kinds of soil. Especially for the high plastic clay the average production comes to 600m~3/h which is five times that of a cutter suction dredger of same installed power in same working condition. Consequently, the energy consumption per m~3 dredged of the wheel dredger is one fifth of that of the cutter dredger. 3. High volumetric concentration. 4. Good dredging performance. Being equipped with the spud carrier, the wheel dredger could not miss the riverbed when moving forward. The special design of the wheel prevents the hard clay from blocking the wheel or the wheel slipping on the clay. 5. Modern and reliable quality equipment installed on this dredger ensures reliable performance of the whole vessel.
