PRESENT STATUS AND DEVELOPING STRATEGY OF STEELS AT THE TURN OF NEW CENTURY IN CHINA

摘要

Present paper is a survey of project "Consulting Report: Iron & Steel Materials" organized by Academia Sinica and Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1997～2000. The history and progress of iron & steel industry both of world-side and China has been briefly mentioned. The faced challenge and opportunity to Chinese-side has been analyzed. Proposal for correspond target and strategic policy has been issued in this paper.
