Presented in the paper are theoretical and experimental data on the development of a technology for hydrometallurgical silver extraction from ores and concentrates according to the "carbon in pulp" and "carbon in solution" schemes, using less toxic and more efficient solvents than cyanide. The possibilities of rhodonide solution for silver leaching in the presence of an oxidizer were studied. Optimal conditions for silver dissolution were determined depending on the concentration of the reagents. The kinetics and mechanism of process were investigated using the method of a rotating disk. Silver from rhodonide solutions was extracted by the sorption onto the activated carbons. The kinetic and equilibrium dependence of the adsorption process were obtained experimentally. The basic thermodynamic values were determined theoretically.
