SEMO FPU: The Efficient Floater

摘要

This paper presents a concept for floating production, the SEMO (Semi-submersible MOnohull), an extremely flexible concept with regard to water depth, payload, storage capacity and fabrication site. The efficiency and robustness of the concept has been verified through conceptual design, structural and hydrodynamic analyses, mooring analyses and fabrication studies including cost and schedule.
