Myrinet-based High Performance Communication Library for Software DSM_s

摘要

User-level networking (ULN) is now becoming an important technology to expose the high performance of network hardware which is advancing much faster than communication software. The exposure of all underlying memory management to high level software gives us a good chance to design a highly efficient, application specific communication substrate. In this paper we present our ongoing work on designing a high performance communication substrate specific to a home-based software DSM system.
