GSCRIPT: A Script Language that Supports Both COM and CORBA

摘要

A simple script language, GSCRIPT, which supports distributed objects of both COM and CORBA is presented in this paper. In this language, Automation and Dynamic Invocation Interface are used to manage COM objects and CORBA objects in the network respectively. GSCRIPT language is platform-independent. One GSCRIPT program will run on many operationg systems and hardware platform. The paper also introduces the architecture of GSCRIPT interpreter and the mechanism to support event service, which enable the platform-independence of GSCRIPT.
