A highly fractured carbonate reservoir almost depleted by natural flow during its longproduction history (1929 - 1976) was repressured to its original crestal pressure in 4 years time usinggas from large dome of a close by high-pressure reservoir without any compression. After resumingproduction from the field in 1986 the oil rate has gradually increased and peaked as high as 6900 m3/din 1992, approximately double the production rate before gas injection start up. Cumulative additionalproduction to date has reached 24 Mm3 including some contribution from remaining primary reserves. It is estimated that total additional production after gas injection start up cumulates 2% of originaloil in place, will be the contribution of secondary reserves due to gas injection repressuring.
