Gas Turbine operating conditions, including contaminated lubricating oil combined, ISO 22/19, to necessitate earlier than expected complete rebuild. In an effort to preclude lubricating oil contamination form creating this situdation in the future, a new patented electronic oil purification technology from MAG systems was installed. As claimbed the system not only cleaned the oil on an ISO 15/12 but it also eliminated the coke formed by the high temperature operation. Three years later the turbine continues to operate at peak efficiency, ISO 15/11 with minimal system and or turbine maintenance.
