EHnahced P/M processing encompasses powder preparation, hot isostatic proessing (JIP) consilidation of powder, extrusion, isothermal forging, ultrasonic inspection, and machining technologies. This combination of technologies is being evaluatied for prodcuing P/M UDIMET alloy 720 turbine disks with improved quality at reduced cost.
