Research on integrated methodology of product design for concurrent engineering

摘要

Concurrent engineering theory and methodology are one of the hottest researches of advanced manufacturing technology. In this paper, through analyzing the concurrent design features, by using the technology of the knowledge processing offered by intelligence Engineering, a two-layer parallel and hierarchical structure, named IIU (Integrated Intelligent Unit) is proposed, to serve as IIU for concurrent design, by which, the knowledge processing of the whole life cycle of product for Concurrent Engineering is realized.
