摘要

For the success of the M.I.M. technology, it is of main importance to pay attention to the design of precision components following rules and criteria to take the most from Metal Injection Moulding. In order to avoid misunderstandings between customers and supplier and also potentials fails of the M.I.M. parts, critical dimensions as well as material properties have to be defined and the design optimized to achieve targets. Two M.I.M. parts case studies with their design evolution, will be explained including limitations if another precision technology had been choosen.
