Induction Motors - Modeling of Transient States

A computer simulation of induction motor starting process is performed simultaneously by use of circuit and field method. Then the current curves obtained by means of both methods are compared leading to the results with negligibly small discrepancy. The dynamic torque curves field distributions for selected transient states are also computed.
