The effects of austenite stabilising elements, such as Ni, Mn, Co and Cu, and strong precipitate forming elements like W, Cr and B on creep rupture strength and microstructural evolutions have been investigated after creep exposure at 600, 650 and 700 deg C. TEM observations and electrolytic carbide extractions were made in order to elucidate precipitates and dislocation structure.
