In the first part of this study the results obtained of makoe visuallization at external flow of a confort centrifigual fan are presented. It will be described the test facilities specially built for the experimental evaluation, the visualization procedure an capture of images, the test methodology and the eperiments that were carried out. It was put in evidence that the swirling flow at the rotor exit is asymmetric and interacts strongly with the suction flow causing an annular vortex and secondary streams in the surrounding air. The second part of the present research shows the variation curves of the three components of the measured velocity, using an hot wire anemometer. The measurement results were processed using the programs Excel, surfer and grapher. The images of the aerodynamics phenomenons filmed with a video camera were digitalized and processed in a personal computer using AVI, MPEG and JPE formats.
