Simulation and Optimization of a Single-Deck Roller Kiln for Ceramic Products

Mathematical model of a single-beck roller kiln, developing the compelx heat transfer mdes acting inside the kiln, is made using a coumputer program. Design parameters, as well as types of tiles and gas consump[tion can be introduced in the program, in order to study the parametric optimization of the model. Global results of the simulations have a good agreement with the data obtained from the ceramic industries/
