Adjustment of Stream Thickness in Swirl Stabilized Burner

摘要

The veolcity vectors at the exit of quarl were measured for two tpes of swirler vanes to reach different velocity distribution across the thickness of shear layer. One axial swireler has used 45 degrees angle and another had variable angle along a radus at the same nondimensioanl swirl number and flow rate. By these means it is possible to change the position of velocity maxima and profile flatness; and get better adjustment for heavy fuel oil burning.
